Why Balancing Your Blood Sugar Will Change Your Live

Updated: Jul 29

Hello!

Today it is time to talk about all things blood sugar, the key to unlocking a happier, healthier, more aligned and vibrant version of you and your children! This topic which does not have anywhere near enough awareness, especially in the space of women and parents. So I want to start by asking you some questions;

Do you wish you had more energy?

Do you often experience brain fog?

Are you not getting consistent or quality sleep?

Are you having feelings of anxiety?

This… and so much more, can be symptoms of a blood sugar imbalance. Not only that, but let's talk about children, for all the parents out there, I wish I knew how much blood sugar dysregulation impacted my kids!

Tiredness?

Low attention span?

Irritability?

Trouble processing big emotions?

Whilst these are all really common in children, these areas in your little ones can be positively improved through the balancing of blood sugar. Which as a biproduct can positively improve the relationship we have with our children, because creating balance within ourselves and our children, sets us up to regulate your nervous systems, and nourish us physically, mentally, emotionally and hormonally.

It really is the positive ripple effect.

I had the wonderful pleasure of chatting with the wonderful Ali Zuur-Arnerich on the Discovering Mum Podcast.

Ali is a Womens Health Coach, who supports women in building sustainable health habits with a focus on perimenopause, insulin resistance, hormonal imbalances and more. She works with key areas such as diet, nervous system regulation, breathwork and combines all of the physical, mental, emotional and energetic elements for a wholeistic approach.

As women we so often experiences a multitude of symptoms and just live with them, like brain fog, reduced energy, sugar cravings and more without realising that these are signs of dysregulated blood sugar.

Ali is a mama and understands the impact of all of this within children too, down to the tools we teach them to regulate their nervous systems to the foods they consume impacting their blood sugar, behaviour and future lifestyle habits.

In this episode, I was completely blown away by how much blood sugar really is connected to every part of our being, and in turn, our children's! We dig into how you can make small, easy tweaks to your lifestyle, in order to create a huge, consistent and sustainable positive impact.

We cover off how by gaining an understanding of these areas, allow us to thrive and feel healthier and happier in ourselves, setting us and everyone around up for success, by choosing healthier habits.

So are you ready to wake up feeling energised and ready to seize the day?

Are you ready to see a positive shift in your little ones?

Are you excited for this feel easy?

If so, then this is your sign to listen to this weeks episode over on the Discovering Mum Podcast on Spotify or Apple!
